Your Prayer Request
1. Pray for our Youth Seminar and Workshop to be held in Borongan, Samar this coming October 18-23, 2009. This activity is in cooperation with the Eastern Samar Youth Organization.
A. The preparation of the ministry teams involved (lecturers, workshop leaders and staff). Pray for wisdom, creativity, strength, good health and fullness of the Holy Spirit. That they will be blessed and be a blessing as well.
B. Provisions for the whole duration of the seminar (materials for handouts, ministry team's food for the duration of the whole seminar, etc). Also fare budget of the ministry team (each team member need to raise at least 3,500 pesos for their air fare and bus fare).
C. God's protection for the team's travel going to Samar and back to Manila.
2. Pray for the ongoing repair of our Sanctuary. That we’ll be able to raise the needed amount to finish this project. That we’ll be able to collect more pledges from the congregation and individual donors as well.
3. Pray that we’ll be able to buy computers for our Student Center and Church Office.
4. Pray for the additional books, bookshelves and cabinets to be added in our student center. The church student center is functioning by faith. We have opened this center to all students in the community. The center provides facilities such as convenient study area with tables and chairs, text and reference books, dictionaries, educational table games, magazines, Bible and other Christian reading materials etc. All of these are offered free of charge. We also do tutoring helps to some students who needs one, also free of charge. We do this as one of our service to the community and as a form of service to God. As Jesus said, “…Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
5. Pray for our Evangelistic Youth Musical to be staged this coming November 8 and 15, 2009; 6:00 p.m.
A. For the cast, production staff and crew as they prepare and rehearse for the presentation. That God provide them with good health, strength, unity, creativity, passion and fullness of the Holy Spirit.
B. God's provision for the budget that will be needed to carry out the production (props, stage designs & decors, costumes, lights, food etc).
6. Pray for our scheduled “Harvest Events” (Evangelistic Campaigns) for the whole year. We do some activities and ministries in church and community outreaches within the vicinity of the church and if there are opportunities and enough provisions, we go out with a team and do out of town outreaches.
7. Pray for our monthly budget, that our tithe and offerings would be able to reach the amount that is needed monthly. Also, that we’ll be able to get more pledges to address the pressing needs of the ministry (operations, logistics etc.) and be able to fulfil what God wanted us to fulfil in the ministry and be able to provide for the ministers and vineyard labourers.
